Terms of Service

We provide residential house cleaning services — including recurring (weekly, biweekly, and monthly) cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in/move-out cleaning, rental property cleaning, and optional add-on services — throughout Utah County and Salt Lake County, Utah and surrounding communities. The specific scope of each visit is based on the plan and services you select.

Quotes are estimates based on the information you provide about your home (such as size, number of rooms, condition, frequency, and access). Final pricing may be adjusted if actual conditions differ materially from what was described, or if you request additional services. We will communicate any pricing change before performing additional work whenever reasonably possible.

You are responsible for providing safe and timely access to your home at the scheduled time (for example, by being present, providing a key or entry code, or arranging entry). If our team cannot access the home at the scheduled time, a lockout or trip fee may apply.

Please secure pets and let us know of any areas you would prefer we not enter. A safe, reasonably clear working environment helps us do our best work.

We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a visit. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or lockouts that prevent us from cleaning, may be subject to a cancellation fee. For recurring plans, repeatedly skipped visits may affect your plan pricing or frequency.

Payment is due as stated on your invoice or service agreement. Invoices are typically issued at or around the time of service. Past-due balances may be subject to a late fee and may result in pausing future service until the balance is resolved.

Your satisfaction matters to us. If you are not satisfied with a cleaning, contact us within 24 hours of the visit and we will return to re-clean the affected areas at no additional charge. This re-clean is our sole remedy under this guarantee; it does not include cash refunds unless required by law.

We treat your home with care. If we cause damage or breakage during a cleaning, please notify us within 24 hours so we can investigate and make it right. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, normal wear, items that are unstable or improperly secured, or damage resulting from defective or improperly installed fixtures.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific cleaning giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

For safety and liability reasons, our standard service does not include, among other things: biohazards (including bodily fluids, mold remediation, or pet waste), insect or rodent infestations, cleaning that requires climbing beyond a two-step stool or working at unsafe heights, or the handling of hazardous materials. Some specialty items may be excluded or require a separate arrangement.

Our team members are a valued part of our business. You agree not to directly hire or engage any of our current or recent staff for private cleaning services outside of Utah Home Cleaning Services during your relationship with us and for 12 months afterward.

With your permission, we may take before-and-after photos to document our work and quality. We will not publish identifiable images of your home for marketing without your consent.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on this page, with its effective date, is the current version. Continuing to use our services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Utah.
